Frequently asked questions

We are a small, independent shop that runs on honesty, clear communication, and fixing things the right way, not upsells, gimmicks, or corporate quotas. This page lays out what to expect so you are not left guessing.

Appointments

We schedule all vehicles by appointment for nearly all inspections, diagnostics, and repairs. It keeps our workflow clean and gives every car the attention it deserves.

If your car is down and you need help right away, you are always welcome to drop it off. Once it is here and we have your info, you are in line, and we will get to it as soon as possible, which is often quicker than expected.

Drop-offs must happen before 10:00 AM on the day of your appointment unless otherwise arranged. Early drop-offs are encouraged and give us the best chance of getting started sooner. Use our secure after-hours key drop if needed.

Yes, a few services are available without an appointment:

Oil Changes: Walk-ins welcome 8 to 9:00 AM Tue to Fri, and you are welcome to wait. Drop off before 10:00 AM and we can usually get it done same-day.

A/C Service: Available Tuesday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM. If we find a leak or issue, the service fee is still billed even if repairs are declined.

Quick Checks: Fluid top-offs, tire air-ups, or air filter replacements handled if time allows.

Headlight Bulbs: We will take a look. If it is a five-minute fix, we will knock it out. If it needs bumper removal, we will schedule it.

Request an appointment online, give us some info about your vehicle and concern, and you will be placed in line. If your car is down, feel free to drop it off early. Just use the key drop and include your name, number, and what is going on.

Only for specific things like oil changes. Most repairs and diagnostics are not wait-friendly. Cars do not always follow the script, and we do not like rushing just because someone is in the lobby watching the clock.

If you are dropping off, we will text you as soon as it is ready and send the invoice straight to your phone or computer. You can pay online and pick up anytime before closing.

Yes, but you will need to schedule an appointment first, since we are appointment only. You can call, text, email, or book online. Once you are on the schedule, you are welcome to drop your vehicle off whenever works best for you.

When dropping off after hours: park in the large lot directly in front of the shop, facing 11th Street along Route 66, outside the red fence. Do not park on side streets or in front of our bay doors, as that delays repairs for everyone. Leave your keys in the secure drop box next to the front entrance, then send us a quick text at (918) 910-2886 to let us know the vehicle has arrived.

If your vehicle is being towed in, you do not need to be there. Tow companies know where to go and how to drop the vehicle off safely.

We ask that all vehicles arrive by 10:00 AM on the day of the appointment, or we may have to cancel to make room for other scheduled work.

We are not like most shops. We work by appointment only, with no walk-ins or first-come chaos. Here is how it goes:

1. Schedule your appointment. Call, text, email, or book online. Once you are on the schedule, you are locked in.

2. Drop off your car by 10:00 AM on the day of your appointment. If it is not here, we may have to cancel and move to the next car. Early drop-off, even the day before, is welcome and helps us get to it sooner.

3. We perform a $30 Inspection of Concern. This is real diagnostic time from a qualified technician who will replicate the issue, run relevant tests, inspect related systems, document findings, and use actual data to figure out what is going on. You then get a digital report by text, email, or phone with findings, photos or video if needed, and a detailed estimate.

4. You decide what to do next. If you approve the repair, we get to work. If not, no pressure. You pay the $30 and we keep everything on file in case you want to come back to it later.

Diagnostics and Estimates

We do not believe in jumping into paid diagnostics unless they are truly needed. Most of the time we start with our $30 Inspection of Concern, a hands-on evaluation where we listen to the symptoms, pop the hood, and look for anything obvious. Sometimes the issue is clear right away.

If more in-depth testing is needed, we will explain exactly why and offer a focused diagnostic plan. Pinpointing root causes and helping customers avoid unnecessary parts and labor is what we do best, and it saves a lot of money and stress in the long run.

We will try, but here is the truth: most estimates we build without seeing the vehicle do not end up matching what is actually wrong. That is why we always recommend starting with an in-person inspection. Our $30 Inspection of Concern lets us evaluate the issue firsthand and provide an accurate estimate and plan of action.

If you still want a ballpark, email is best, or leave a detailed voicemail at (918) 910-2886. Include your VIN, year, make, model, trim, engine size, and the specific parts and quantities you are interested in replacing. The more info, the better.

Any estimate we give without inspecting the vehicle is a rough guess. For average repair costs, tools like AAA.com, RepairPal.com, or Kelley Blue Book can help.

We will take a look at what you were told, but we will still confirm it ourselves before recommending repairs. We have seen too many diagnoses that turned out completely wrong. If we are putting our name and warranty on the job, we want to be 100% sure.

No. As long as you approve the repair within 14 days, we will honor the original inspection and estimate. After that, we may need to recheck the vehicle or estimate depending on what has changed.

Services

We specialize in Domestic and Asian vehicles, including hybrids and classics:

Toyota, Lexus, Honda, Acura
Subaru, Nissan, Infiniti, Hyundai, Kia
Chevrolet, Ford, GMC, Buick, Cadillac
Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram, Lincoln

We do not work on: diesel vehicles, most European brands, three-quarter ton or larger vehicles, high-top vans or buses, or tire sales, balance, and installation (we do rotate, align, and inspect them).

We do. When scheduling online, select a Maintenance Inspection. We review your vehicle's service history using CARFAX and compare it to the manufacturer's maintenance schedule. Then we actually test your fluids with chemical test strips rather than just eyeball them, check high-priority items, look for signs of neglect or over-servicing, and give you an honest recommendation. Too many customers come to us with a list of unnecessary services recommended elsewhere, and after we check properly there is nothing wrong. That is exactly why we do it right.

We offer an extensive range of services including repair, maintenance, diagnostic testing, consulting, and advising. Whether it is a noise, a light on the dash, or just something that does not feel right, we start with an evaluation of your concern and provide honest, clear recommendations on what, if anything, needs to be done.

Every situation is different, so we do not push unnecessary services. We figure out what your vehicle actually needs. You can also view our full list of services we offer, and a few we do not, on the Services page.

No, but we install Jasper engines, transmissions, transfer cases, axles, and even turbos. They come with a 3-year / 100,000-mile nationwide warranty, and we handle everything from ordering to install.

We take pride in honest diagnostics and quality repairs, which sometimes means declining work to protect both you and our equipment.

We cannot service AC systems contaminated with stop-leak products, DIY refrigerant cans from auto parts stores, or non-OEM sealants or additives. These products contaminate the entire AC system, damage our diagnostic equipment, can spread to other customers' vehicles, and often mask the real problem so the repair will not last anyway.

If you have used these products, be upfront when you call or arrive. Options typically include replacing contaminated components before service, or a full system replacement if contamination is severe. If you are not sure whether you have used them, just ask and we are happy to explain what to look for.

We are a full-service repair shop, which means we handle the entire process from start to finish. Part of that responsibility is being experts not just in repairs but in sourcing high-quality replacement parts. Customer-supplied parts often lead to delays, wasted time, and lost money. By using parts we source, we ensure compatibility, reliability, and a warranty we can actually stand behind.

Yes, and we highly recommend them. Used vehicles in Oklahoma are sold as-is with no warranty, so having a vehicle inspected beforehand is one of the smartest things you can do. Pre-purchase inspections need to be scheduled in advance. If time is tight and a deal is on the line, we recommend calling nearby shops as well, because doing your homework is always worth it.

Pickup and Timing

The goal is always to get your car back to you as quickly as possible. That said, even simple jobs can spiral into multi-day projects, and as masters of the trade we know that all too well. We work efficiently, communicate clearly, and do everything we can to keep delays to a minimum. You will hear from us the moment your vehicle is ready, and you have 14 days of free parking to settle up and pick it up at your convenience.

Once your repairs are complete, we notify you by text message, or by phone or email if you prefer. Your vehicle can be stored free of charge for up to 14 days after notification. Pickup is available Tuesday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Need to pick up outside these hours? Give us a call and we will do our best to accommodate you.

You can have your vehicle towed to our lot anytime and leave the keys in our secure key drop. If you can call, text, or email ahead of time, great, but if you cannot, at least leave us a name, a number, or a note in the drop box. If we can identify the vehicle or owner, we will hold it up to five days. If we cannot, we will hold it for 24 hours while we wait to hear from you. No work begins until we have connected with you directly and confirmed next steps.

Warranty and Payment

As a TechNet repair facility, we offer a 3-year / 36,000-mile nationwide warranty honored at over 16,000 partner shops across the country. It includes roadside assistance and peace of mind no matter where you are. Because our repairs are typically so thorough, we see less than a 1% warranty rate, and when something does need attention customers tell us they are surprised at how easy and stress-free the process is. We stand behind our work every step of the way. See the Warranty page for full details.

Cash, card, check, Google Pay, and Apple Pay. We also accept most fleet cards. Need to finance a repair? We offer multiple financing options including Snap Finance, Koalifi, Wisetack, Synchrony, and American First Financing.

We do not have our own tow trucks, but we will help coordinate a tow and recommend someone reliable. We often suggest reaching out to your insurance or roadside assistance provider first, since many customers are surprised to learn they already have a towing benefit. For a trustworthy local option we recommend Manny's Towing at (918) 378-5102. If your repair ends up covered under a TechNet warranty, you may also be eligible for reimbursement of towing costs.

Visiting Us

We will be real with you: the shop is a little old-school. We do not have espresso machines or modern art on the walls. But we do have cold drinks, free Wi-Fi, a couple of plants doing their best, a TV that plays music videos, and some old car magazines. It is simple, clean, and focused on what matters, which is fixing your vehicle right.
